  • If the connection has already left, go directly to the agent of the airline that caused you to miss your next flight.

  • They should make arrangements for you to be re booked and re-ticketed accordingly.

  • It's possible that they may help with some of your added expenses or provide you with a meal or hotel voucher, if necessary..

  • Usually they will, for good customer relations.  However, if you have booked the flights too close together, less than minimum connecting times, you may have created your own problem and the airline won’t be sympathetic or absorb your added costs.

  • Always check with the individual airline before hand, to determine the minimum connecting time from flight to flight.  If you have booked the entire itinerary with the airline, they will be responsible for booking the correct minimum connecting times.
