There are some conditions also that your insurance must follow such as; your health insurance should cover in all 26 countries which come under the “Schengen area”, your health insurance must cover at least 30,000 EUR.

If you are going through any surgery then your insurance cover will also be there. Some of the health insurance companies don’t provide dental treatment.

In case of an accident, your Schengen visa health insurance will provide you the necessary medical attention. If you got stuck in any remote location, your insurance will also help you to evacuate.

There is no big difference between Schengen visa health insurance and Schengen visa travel insurance. All the benefits you may get from travel insurance you will also get from health insurance, but in health insurance companies are more focused on health.
