Singapore Hotel Offers Rain Refunds to Suite Guests

In a move that redefines luxury hospitality, InterContinental Singapore has introduced the “Rain Resist Bliss” package, offering guests a refund if rain disrupts their plans during their stay. This innovative initiative aims to provide travelers with peace of mind, ensuring that unexpected weather doesn’t dampen their experience in the Lion City

🌧️ How the Rain Refund Works

Singapore experiences rainfall on approximately 171 days each year, making weather-related disruptions a common concern for visitors. To address this, InterContinental Singapore’s “Rain Resist Bliss” package offers a rebate voucher equivalent to the cost of a single night’s stay if rainfall exceeds two cumulative hours within any four-hour block during daylight hours (8 a.m. to 7 p.m.)

The offer is exclusively available to guests booking suite accommodations, with rates starting at SGD $850 per night. Eligible suites include Junior Suites, One-Bedroom Suites, Royal Suites, Ambassador Suites, and the Presidential Suite. The rebate is provided as a voucher, redeemable within six months for future stays or services at the hotel

🛎️ Additional Perks for Suite Guests

Guests opting for the “Rain Resist Bliss” package enjoy more than just weather protection. The package includes 24/7 butler service and access to the exclusive Club InterContinental Lounge, offering a range of personalized services and amenities

🤝 A Collaboration with Insurtech

The rain protection package is a result of a partnership between InterContinental Singapore and Swiss-based insurtech company discovermarket. Leveraging advanced insurance technology, the program automatically processes claims based on data from Singapore’s National Environment Agency, ensuring a seamless experience for guests

✨ Final Thoughts

InterContinental Singapore’s “Rain Resist Bliss” package exemplifies the hotel’s commitment to enhancing guest experiences by addressing common travel concerns. By offering a refund for weather disruptions, the hotel ensures that guests can explore Singapore with confidence, rain or shine.
