How do I know how much to tip ?

Always tip luggage handlers. Usually, a tip of $1.00 to $1.50 per bag is adequate if they are brought to your room. Tip less if it’s just unloaded at the front door for you to handle.
Look over your room service bill. Often it will already include a tip or service charge. If not, 15%-20% is considered good.
Remember to leave housekeeping a smal tip with a note. $1.00-2.00 a night is appropriate. Tip on the higher end if she performs some special services or you have left the room particularly messy.
