A little about Hawaii

Hawaii is the one of the 50 States of US. It was admitted into the Union on 21st August 1959. It is the only sate entirely made up of islands, there are eight "main islands" (from the northwest to southeast) Ni’ihau, Kaua’i, O’ahu, Moloka’i, Lāna’i, Kaho’olawe, Maui, and Hawai’i. The last is by far the largest, and is often called the "Big Island" or "Big Isle" to avoid confusion with the state as a whole.

Hawaii is the most isolated island on earth. The nearest land is around 2400 miles away (California). People started inhabiting these islands 300 – 400 AD. And Captain James cook discovered these islands in 1778 and announced its existence to the world.
