British Airways is the second largest UK airline based on passengers and fleet size. The carrier serves more than 160 international destinations worldwide.

British Airways Baggage

The carrier has a generous free hand baggage allowance policy. The maximum weight per hand baggage is up to 23kg (1 handbag/laptop bag and up to 40 x 30 x 15cm / 16 x 12 x 6in). Travelers are expected to fit their bags into the baggage gauge at check-in. Over a period of two years, they can pay for up to 10 additional bags per adult, as well as the free baggage allowance. For instance, if a traveler is allowed one bag, they can pay for up to 10 extra bags i.e. a total of 11 bags.

An online check-in can be performed by travelers 24 hours before the flight. They must print their own boarding pass before departure. Travelers may alternatively check-in at the airport kiosks.

Classes of Service

Travelers can always be assured of exceptional comfort, dedicated service, and delicious meals that make the entire journey a pleasant experience. There are four classes of services on British Airways' flights: Premium Economy Class, Economy class, First Class, and British Airways Business Class. Travelers can reserve their seats during check-in for free though preferred seats may be limited in availability.
