It celebrates the original French explorers to the region and attracts thousands of people from all over North America. Folklorama is the world’s longest running cultural celebration. It is a celebration of the people and history of the region and the country in general. The Jazz Winnipeg Festival and other musical festivals throughout the year offer local musicians the chance to perform.
